Computers became more powerful. The systems around them became more centralized, more dependent and less accountable to the people using them.
CALMTICY begins with a different idea: intelligence should work for the individual without requiring the individual to surrender ownership.
Intelligence should remember you without becoming someone else's property.
Our principles
The information that gives CALMTICY its understanding of you is deeply personal. It should remain under the control of the person who created it.
Privacy should not be an optional setting layered over a system designed to observe everything. It must shape how information is stored, accessed and shared from the beginning.
No single AI provider should control a person’s permanent memory. Intelligence may come from many models, but personal context should remain portable and user-owned.
People should be able to decide what an AI agent can access, why it can access it and how long that permission should remain active.
Software should remain useful without requiring constant permission from a remote platform, a network connection or an external gatekeeper.
True ownership requires deliberate choices about credentials, backups, recovery and the protection of personal information.
